Hi mam....my son is almost 3 year old and my son got white ptaches in face, and also he eats all fruits and vegetables, all foods may i know the reason for that patches

A. This is a very common problem in children. White patches on face may have many reasons like Vit Deficiency, Birth marks, Tinea versicolour, Vitiligo, worm infestation, etc.... This seems Pityriasis Alba it is a self limiting problem n Don’t require any treatment Can apply some moisturiser. Don't use hars soap. use sunscreen, maintain skin hygiene and offer a healthy diet is nessesary. it resolves itself spontaneously in a few months.. if not do Consult your paedritician first . gh
