Hi madam, now I am 20weeks pregnant. I completed my tiffa scan yesterday. in report it is mentioned that left renal pelvis measures 2.4mm and right renal pelvis measures 4.0mm and also mentioned that mild renal pelvic dilatation with normal renal parenchymal texture. It is also mentioned that left uterine artery doppler shows increased resistance flow. right one is normal. What to do madam, is it major issue.

A. You have to follow up with regards to the scan to see how the baby is responding. You can consult a fetal medicine specialist also. Keep a track of your blood pressure because whenever there is increased uterine artery resistance there is a chance of hypertension, complicating pregnancy although it is not compulsory, it is just a marker that there is a slight probability
