Q.

Hi Ma'am My Son is 4.5 yrs but very lean & thin & don't eat the required portion size easily. Please suggest some food to be given for weight gain & to build muscles. We are pure vegetarian.

A. Hello dear parent! Maintain a good personal hygiene for your child. Let the child be physically active as much as possible and feel hungry before the next meal. Give 3 meals and 2 small snacks in a day. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, nuts, dry fruits and dairy in the diet. Good luck and take care.
