Q.

hi Ma'am, my hospital doesn't have an epidural facility. is that something of concern? should I be looking out for a hospital where epidural is available? and just to be sure when is epidural used, normal delivery or ceaserian delivery? please let me know if delivery can be managed without epidural as well. I am 32 weeks pregnant.

A. Yes delivery can be managed without epidural. The purpose of epidural is to reduce the labor pains when you are going ahead with a vaginal delivery. If you don’t want that then there is no need of epidural and if surgery is required spinal anesthesia will be givenWrite Your Answer Here
