Hi Ma'am, My daughter is 14 months old and her weight is 8.7 kgs, at the time of birth she was 3.4 kgs. My concern is she has been 8.7 kgs for so many months now, what should I do so that she would gain weight in a healthy manner? please help...

A. Dear mum, for your baby’s healthy weight gain, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add powdered nuts like almonds to babys foods. Add ghee to babys foods. Give 4 to 5 meals a day and up to one katori every time. Continue to breastfeed till 2 years.
