Hi Ma'am my baby is 20 months old I have a doubt about diarrhea. Day before yeseshe pooped 4 times watery very little quantities with some smell. yesterday she pooped two times with normal consistency and today again 4 times watery little amount smell also little is it okay or any issues

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 20 months old and she is having a diarrhoea but if she is active and no any dehydration then just give her ORS and econorm sachets two time a day

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Loose motion could be because of some infection or if chronic than could be some malabsorption. Initially you can give zinc supplement for 2 weeks and probiotic like econorm sachet for 3 days .cd For any specific treatment consult your doctor and maintain proper hydration .
