Hi ma'am my baby is 14days old born at 34weeks with 2.3kg weight he is not drinking milk from my breast he is taking only pumped milk from bottle. He is not latching. I'm really worried and feeling helpless. I want to breastfeed him please help

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. As a baby has got used to the bottle that you gave in the beginning stages it might be a bit difficult for the baby to get used to your breast. If the same thing keeps continuing you might have to resort to pumping only. It’s normal in either way and don’t take it to heart if the baby is not finding it easy to latch as anyway the baby is taking your milk only.
Meanwhile keep trying to make the baby get used to your breast. It will take some time for the baby to come aroundWrite Your Answer Here

U Please consult a lactation specialist she will guide you and advise you how do you need to teach your child properly to you know latch onto your breast how can you feed your child properly onto your breast they are experts in this area this is their core field so they can assist you well on this
