Hi just wanted to know my baby is 22 days old and she does not like to be swaddled when she is swaddled she sleeps less and cries after sometime and if I open her she continues to sleep for an hour or soo..just wanted to know if swaddling is compulsory for the growth of the baby like for proper leg growth or having straight legs or is it ok if keep her open except swaddle at night

Nihita mittalMom of a 7 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. good evening swaddling is considered to be good actually it helps to make the child comfortable and there are no side effects absolutely so definitely I would recommend you to do it before putting the child to bed
