Hi Is it necessary to take iron and calcium medicine after delivery. I have not taken any medicines from the last 4 months. Pls suggest

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. yes, Continue iron for at least 3 months and calcium supplements till you are feeding your baby. Also take vit d3 once a week for first 3 to 4 month. your doctor probably will prescribe or advice for same.
