A. If the kid is active and is eating well, then there is nothing to worry about. Start giving whole cow's milk and milk products like ghee in small amounts, cheese, homemade paneer, curd and butter. Give fruit milkshakes and fruit smoothies and add dry fruits powder to them. Give one boiled egg per day. Give plain nuts like almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, raisins and peanuts. Give cheese sandwiches and peanut butter sandwiches. Give pulses like moong Dal and urad dal. Give cheesy mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. Give bananas, mangoes, avocados, pears, and pineapple. Add olive oil to your toddler's salads and in other recipes. Give pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds. Jaggery also helps in weight gain.
