Q.

hi! I've a baby boy of nine months.. as per vaccination card cholera vaccine is require by 12 months, but pediatrician says it's not require.. kindly suggest whether it's require or not??

A. cholera vaccine is optional vaccine moreover it is not given routinely to all the babies unless you will be expecting a Cholera as a randomic disease in a particular locality

Yes it is optional.Between 12 and 23 months of age, your baby should receive vaccines to protect them from the following diseases: Chickenpox (Varicella) (1st dose)Diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (pertussis) (DTaP) (4th dose)Haemophilus influenzae type b disease (Hib) (4th dose)Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) (1st dose)
