Q.
hi I'm a mom of 2 month old my father in law gave her junior Horlicks by mistake day before yesterday she dint poop today..is she constipated should I go to the dr immediately since newborn drank Horlicks is there any harm for her please help I'm so worried

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl3 years agoA. it is ok but after 2yt .Breast feeding should be at least till 6 month of age. If not possible then milk formula should be given with proper dilution . After 6 month can start with top feed along with cow milk .

See I don’t know how it was given by mistake I mean that’s a little unbelievable because even if the child is on formula feeding you cannot give these things to the child that everybody knows but nevertheless your child has had it already and if your child is not passing motion you wait for another 2 to 3 days if your child still does not pass motion then you can ask your doctor for some laxative but please don’t do these things because the system of the child is very fragile
