Q.

Hi. i have low lying placenta as shown in usg at 13 weeks. i wanted to know wether placenta position will change in upcoming weeks or month during preg. doc told me for bedrest but i am alone at home so i hv to do oll household work. i am worried because of low lying placenta..its also because someone told me that placenta position will change in upcoming weeks. is that true???

A. nothing to worry at present - as the pregnancy progresses the Placenta may shift upwards If in case it does not shift upwards even in the next sonography that is still 18 to 19 weeks then - you just need to take total bed rest till the time of delivery
