Q.

hi, I have diagnosed with thyroid during pregnancy and I have asked to stop the medication post delivery when my baby is 3 months old. when I checked in 5th month thyroid range is normaI . I was feeling tired and checked in 8th month, my tsh value is too high. so doctor recommended to start medication and asked to consult to peadtrician as there are chances for baby to get thyroid as I am breastfeeding. doctor examined baby and said there are no symptoms as such as baby is active, reaching milestones and no constipation problem. however to clear the doubt asked to give blood test for baby to check thyroid. we did give blood test for baby to check thyroid seems like thyroid is low and just near to the range. could you please check report once Nad let me know if it is OK or something to be consulted with doctor

A. It is well within the range actually the first one that is there that is for the kids that your child is in that range of age so it is well within the range of the thyroid levels so it is not positive it is completely negative for the child as of now
