Maybe your child is not comfortable with it because there is no way to teach the child as such because when you do finger food the first instance the child is going to do is to keep it into its mouth so the child is not doing it properly the child is not yet ready to do it when you try doing it the next time keep one in your hand and show it to your child how you are keeping it into your mouth like finger similarly the child would definitely try and copy
