Hi, I have 1 year 8 months baby, she is having cold light caught, can I give this drops to my baby girl and if I can give how much ml I can give, please tell me, phenylephrine hydrochloride & chlorpheniramine maleate drops

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a phiroper evaluation by the doctor is done and accfording to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
