Q.

Hi, I got my baby's 1st vaccination today. I was told to give calpol for fever. I have confusion that I should giv calpol immediately after vaccination is done to avoid pain or should I wait for fever to occur and then giv calpol to baby. please suggest. Note - This vaccination dose is absolutely painfully. We didn't opt painless

A. paracetamol that is calpol decreases both pain and fever so if the child is having pain you can give paracetamol for that also
