Q.
hi , I am very tensed for my child he don't want to speak just listen songs whole day. If I refuse not to listen he cries for hours till he gets what he wants. not interested in speaking. when I call his name he don't listen. he just speaks few words mama kaka baba papa Bibi that's it. what should I do please guide I started having feeling that I am not parenting him correctly

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two yetdars of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech doyes not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
