Q.

Hi..I am parent of 2 years 3 month baby girl..Her birth date is June 01 2023.. As per NEP, when is the right time to admit her to Pre-kg(Mont-1).. Can I admit her next year..(2026-27)

A. Actually after the age of 2 1/2 years it is the right age for you to put your child in to play group so right now if you want you can put your child into play group by January and then you can repeat the session again for your child I’m just saying it because once the child will start going to the school the child will start getting used because a child take about a month or so to adjust in school in March the session is going to close and then again from April you can continue in the same class which should be pre-nursery and if you don’t want to do the same then you can enrol by the time of April in the new session itself when the child is almost going to be three years that’s the correct age for pre-nursery
