Hi I am mother of 8 months 21 days old baby girl. Till now she is on breastfeeding and from 6 months I have introduced solids like Cerelac, smashed banana. can I give her formula milk in between during office hours and which formula milk will be better to introduce her

ExpertDR MINAL ACHARYANutritionist6 days agoA. dear mum, if you are able to breastfeed then you should continue to breastfeed. there is no need to give formula. even when you are at work, expressed breast milk can be fed using katori and spoon.

Similac advance is very good you can of course go ahead with that and there is no problem in starting giving formula to the child if you’re a working mum it’s very convenient actually so please go ahead with that I’m also going to advise you at the same time that please give plenty of fluids to the child in the diet and as of now it’s starting for formula for the first time stick to stage one and stage two after completing the time of seven or eight months
