hi I am having 10 months old baby I am breastfeeding monther can I drink red wine

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician1 Year agoA. Better to avoid even if it us wine as all these contain alcohol which is not advisable especially during breast feeding phase so have other drinks like coconut water juices without sugar can be consumed

It is not advisable to consume alcohol when your breastfeeding the child it stays into your blood for another 8 to 12 hours which is why doctors don’t suggest you to have any kind of alcohol when your breastfeeding the child I would recommend you to avoid if you can
