Q.

hi, I am giving my one month old child Aptamil formula milk but she is not able to pass stool from last 3 days so can I replace Aptamil with lactogen . Due to some medical issue I am not able to provide her my breast feed.

A. This is normal in baby bcz sometimes baby didn’t pass stool 4-5 days

A. if the regular consistency is semi solid to solid then there is no need to change the formula milk but if it is hard and dry stool then only you have to change the formula milk

A. yes you can do so but it is advisable to meet your doctor because proper history has to be evaluated as why the child was not able to pass the stool
