Q.

Hi I am a mother of a premature baby girl Now she is 6 month old she is not gaining good weight I guess she is lacking something

A. Weight gain in a child is a good indicator for proper health of the child and there should be a regular weight gain as per the age of the child. if there is not a proper weight gain it can be because of many factors and three most important causes are Baby not taking enough calories Baby is not absorbing the enough calories which the baby is taking Baby is burning too many calories . So crc a proper assessment is very important to know the cause regarding this .

Then you should go ahead with giving formula feeding to the child in the first place maybe that is going to help along with that if you want to start with semisolid now since it is six months complete then you should consult a nutritionist a proper diet plan what all you need to include in to your child’s daily that would very well be suggested by a doctor forWrite Your Answer Here
