Q.
Hi, I am a mom to a 21 days old baby. I have confusion recognising if the baby is crying because of gas pain or hunger. in each scenario, if i offer milk she takes it and so becomes confusing for me. later she does pass gas though so I felt it could be gas. please can you help suggest the better way and if I need to give her something for gas.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. hi, everytime, Feed in upright position. Allow her a good latch. Burping after every feeding, will help her ease the gas. To relive gases pain-,Apply hing paste around navel, n guve Colicaid in case if excessive crying.
