Q.
hi I am a bf mother and my son is 22 months old , from today morning he pasing loose stool more than 10 times , and he has fever . also crying while pooping , I had cough so took benadryl 5-6 times in last ,2 days ? so my ques is .... he is passing loose stool because to I am taking benadryl ? or reason may be others please answer I gave him entrogermina , antibiotics , fever ? is there I can give him ? he is crying while pooping π please help

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite .
supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can bbke given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose .
Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
