Q.
Hi I am 36 weeks pregnant. Can I go for normal delivery if baby has tight single loop of nuchal cord around neck?

You can give a trial of labour but usually if the loop of cord is it tight already then there is a chance that it may tighten more during the process of delivery and that’s why you should be under strict CTg monitoring and if there is even the slightest indication that the babies not doing so well then should be taken up for cesarean surgeryWrite Your Answer Here
