Q.

Hi from last year I have not given yearly flue vaccine to my child due to covid..is it compulsory to give or can I avoid..plz guide

A. because of the current pandemic situation due to covid it is advisable to postpone the vaccinations for a few weeks for safety of your child against covid, you can talk to your pediatrician for re scheduling of it but if you have missed any vaccinations in previous time it's not a problem it won't affect the baby, you can get them done now if it is possible for you to follow all the safety protocol while the vaccinations are done. flu vaccine or influenza vaccine are suggested to give partial protection against covid buut they are of limited help, complete safety precautions has to be followed for complete protection.

A. good evening flu vaccination is actually an optional vaccination however looking at the current scenario I would recommend that you should definitely get it done for your child it will help to prevent the child from catching cold fever
