Hi friends. I have 5 months old baby. Can I give co trimaxahole oral suspension IP syrup for my baby for cold and cough. Please suggest me

AvanthikaGuardian of a 5 yr old boy4 years agoA. hello sir, I don't have milk so I am giving formula milk Similac IQ from Yesterday onwards my baby is doing vomiting when I am feeding n vomiting sensation normal Time also. after making him burp also he is having cold in chest part from few days. I am giving him maxtra syrup 05 ml. I am worried sir. pls let me no y he is vomiting.

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 5 months old and she is having a cold and coughs then you should not give her co trimaxazole (septran) which is used for diarrhoea and rarely in maleria
