Q.
Hi Foctor, My daughter is 14 months old, She has fever and cold from 7 days. She has lot of plum. Consult doctor on 3rd day she gave suspenaion P250 for fever and Ascoril Ls for cough. My daughter doing vomting after giving the medicine. At night the temperature is 102 and in morning 99. Taking little food and water and feeding milk from me. Can u please suggest.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be benefoicial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
