Q.

hi everyone... my daughter born on 27th oct 2023 and she's birth weight is 3.5kg .now she is in 5 month and present her weight is 5.4 kg .. everyone saying that baby most be double their birth weight ..but my baby not getting weight gain..iam using mother milk only..why should I increase her weight plz tell me ..iam really worried about her weight

A. hi dear Mum baby should be double the birth weight by 6 months or less have frequent skin to skin contact, at one time feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain ensure that baby latches properly during breastfeeding.
