Hi dr , our baby is 2 months old. He was on combination feeding , now changed to exclusive breastfeeding hasnt passed stool for the past 3 days. He seems like he is inndiscomfort and is crying . Should we wait or consult a dr ?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 Year agoA. hi dear parent It is normal for many exclusively breastfed babies to not pass stool frequently it can be even once in 7-8 days. Consult doctor if stomach appears to be bloated

Enima you can insert into the anal region of your child and your child will probably proof within 5 to 6 hours because this is actually very common for kids to have constipation for 7 to 10 days your child is having discomfort this is a very good option for you
