Hi Dr. My daughter was born on September 28th with 3.14kgs birth weight. She's now 3.88kgs at 6 weeks (precisely 43days). Is the weight gain adequate? she's exclusively breastfed.

A. hello it seems ok and in the first month babies weight generally drops and starts gaining then and if baby is gaining a minimum of six hundred grams to 800 grams per month means the baby is getting sufficient breast milk and growth is also good and incase bm is not sufficient u may give infant formula milk using a bpa free bottle like Babyhug
