Hi Dr, My daughter starts licking his thumb from the last 3 days, I wanna stop her to do so, as I heard from so many people that it she will become habitual of it, please suggest how can I stop her??

A. taht is normal for. No need to worry for the same as it looks normal and physiological for all . If the condition persist then medication or any treatment can be done after consulting a doctor

A. hi no it is not true. baby is too young and usually they do this because of soothing themselves or sucking reflux. so , don't worry about it much. just gently remove your child thumb from Mouth . distract your child by giving toys.
