HI Dr. my baby now in 20 months old can we take booster dose of PCV. please suggest is it correct age or not

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist4 years agoA. yes it's correct pneumococcal vaccine is against certain bacteria called strep pneumoniae. it protects against pneumonia , meningitis and sepsis caused by these particular bacteria only. viral infections still can occur.
