Hi dr..My baby boy is going to be 2 year old next month..He was good at his weight & was chubby baby too..His weight was 11kg but from a month he was unwell went through fever cough vomiting loose motion..Now he is better but all of sudden he lost 800grm and looks very thin😔 He looks soo thin can count his bons..Cant sea my baby like this please kindly help me out pleaseee😭

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. weight gain in a child is a good indicator for proper health of the child and there should be a regular weight gain as per the age of the child. if there is not a proper weight gain it can be because of many factors like nutritional factor some gnchronic infection or malabsorption which needs to be ruled out.
