Q.

hi dr. my 9 month old baby's naval was protruding little outwards so i consulted a pedriatician.. he told me that it is hernia... and it will aitomitaclly go on its own when the baby turns 1.5 yrs... but dr. what to do if it does not go? is it risky?

A. please follow your doctor's instructions do not worry and rest you can take advice from your doctor for this and the doctor will guide you properly regarding this query and that would be the best approach in a proper way.

A. U Have two choices either you consult a child specialist or take a second opinion from another paediatrician because that way when you take opinion from two different doctors your mind is much more clear as to what can you do and what is the right choice that you should move forward with
