hi dr my 4 year old son has fever from 9 pm till now i.e. 4 am....I have given paracetamol after every 4 hours...but his fever is not coming down.....is it ok to give him Combiflam suspension and how much I have to give him??? his fever is 101 pls suggest. thanks

A. avoid self medication, Give pcm as per prescribed dose and at proper adviced time interval . For any fever paracetamol is fine..after giving paracetamol wait for 30mins to 1 hour...if fever does not subside you can give tepid sponging to bring down the temperature if fever
