Hi dr, I had first preterm baby, can the second also be the preterm baby? I had cervical encerclage. the USG report showed short cervix length. please help me to plan my second child

SonuMom of 2 children2 weeks agoA. hello mom....i m also a mom of preterm baby my elder one was a 34th weeker... n now she's 5 years old active n healthy....n my second born is 15 months old n a 38th weeker I too had a short cervix so do not worry jus follow whatever ur gynaecologist suggests n have a healthy diet....take care

Not necessary because as two pregnancies for the same woman are different in the same way the delivery can also be different First and maybe the situation was that you had a premature delivery but it is not necessary that time also the same thing will happen
