Q.

Hi Dr. Does small ASD ( 5.2mm ) , detected at birth will close on its own by the time Baby turns 1 or may be 1.5 yrs d age?? Or do we need to get it reviewed timely to see the status???

A. you should definitely review it and you have to be in constant touch with your doctor so that they will update you when to get it done. there is chance that it will close but still you have to keep monitoring
