Hi Dr 37 week delivery is ok? baby is fully matured? if gestational age is 1 week ahead

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. Hello dear If the baby is 37 completed weeks based on your Lmp (only if you had regular cycles) then upon delivery usually baby won’t have any issues and will be considered term

After completing the time of nine months that’s the best time to go for delivery date 39 to 40 weeks but even after when you enter into the time of ninth month if you deliver even Ib before two weeks before the normal day then also it is completely safe and healthy for the child it is not considered Pre mature child
