Hi Doctors, my daughter is 3yrs 6 months old since two days she is suffering from fever temperature fluctuating between 100 to 102°..I m giving her P250 5 ml every 6 hrs but I see no reduce in fever also her foot sole and palms are cold compared to whole body ..pls suggest how much ML to be given

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as feverz
to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal ztemperature water.
higher medicines whether required or not will be told by the doctor.
