Q.

hi doctors, my baby is 2.5 yrs old, was given with Japanese encephalitis vaccination yesterday, she is telling its paining unable to walk jump properly, I am afraid pls suggest me is tht pain common and how long pain lasts

A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injezction site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continuezs beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
