Q.

Hi Doctors, My 16 months baby is looking at things she wants and cries. Tries to reach to toys by herself but not asking what she wants. How to make baby interact well with us? I keep talking, she observes well but not repeating. How many words should 16 months old say minimum?

A. such type of behaviour always decreases with increasing age of the child and it is very common behaviour at this age. with proper diversion and getting the child engaged in another things will help in decreasing such behaviour. meet your doctor for more advice andx also share the video of such behaviour with the doctor. also see that the child is not having iron deficiency because that can aggravate this behaviour

A. Some kids don’t say anything not even a single word some can say 15 to 20 words Sam can say five words a specific number limit that I can tell you but if your child respond well understand well then it’s not a problem just pick up some toys and show to do you want this do you want that this is how you can probably interact with your child
