Q.

Hi Doctor, My son was affected with Covid in the month of April this year and recovered within a week. He was absolutely fine then. From the last 3 months he got fever for 3 times. I have to say it's very cold here. Hope it is seasonal. Is there anything to be worried about?

A. Yes it might be seasonal so keep your baby warm and keep the baby indoor and try to give a multivitamin syrup like Zincovit for two months to build his immunity and give Vitamin C rich fruits

A. mostly it's due to weather changes.. If you taken temperature correct method with thermometer it is less than 100 degrees F it's normal . otherwise give syp paracetamol in proper dose 6 hourly for 3 days If no improvement Consult your pediatrician for trying to find out the cause of fever and get some tests done as needed

A. Thank you Rashmi. it was helpful. last time when we visited the Doctor, even she said it is viral. Hopefully I have to go more on boosting his immunity.

A. Yeah It definitely could be seasonal but you know having fever three times in three months is not a good sign even if it is seasonal it is not good you should go ahead with the further checkup with your doctor maybe it could be due to viral or something it’s better to be more sure about it
