Q.

Hi Doctor,My son swallowed syntetic vinegar today at 8:30 AM and he has stomach pain and vomiting. and from 5 PM he is normal but when we checked him at 10:20he and slight temperature 37.3. Need your advise .

A. give paracetamol after 2 episodes of vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

Q. hello doctor , my baby is 6 months old and he had papaya puree at 3pm in the afternoon than had bottle feed at 5 pm and than had khichdi at 7 pm and than breast feed at 8:30 pm but around 10:30 pm he spitted out slight khichdi and after than we didnt gave him anything neither he is showing any signs of hunger but he is gagging again and again after some time like he is about to vomit what should i do now and what could be the reason for it

Q. My baby was vomiting from 4:30 AM till 12:30 PM around 6 to 7 times. He is very upset now and is very sleepy during the day. As the doctor prescribed, I gave him "Protectis" at 12:45 PM and then at 4 PM, 5 drops each. Now, i am worried about the time gap. Is the time gap enough or should I visit the doctor again.
