Hi Doctor, My Son of 2 years and 10 months has been recently been facing constipation issues. This happens once a month where he is unable to pass stool for three days. Because of this he gets scared due to the exertion of pressure. Could you please recommend any laxatives for him. Thank you.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it ks very com.in kid .Hard stool is very common in babies ; due to low fiber and water intake . So increase the quantity for water and fiber . Also lactulose can be used if severe constipation is there and it is trouble some .
