Hi Doctor, My son is 11 months and 3 days old. His weight is 8.2kg. His birth weight was 3.3kg. His weight is not increasing much. He does not eat much. We try to give 5 meals a day(2 snacks). Is the weight a problem and what could be done? Thanks!

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear mum, though your baby's weight gain has been less, but weight of 8.2 kg is still a normal weight for 11 months old baby, do not worry. also if baby is active, playful and achieving all growth milestones, passing urine more than 6 to 8 times in 24 hours then it indicates good health.
