Hi doctor,my niece is 5 days old,she is continuously sleeping, due to which her feeding time is getting missed, how many hours sleep is required for new born baby

A. hi new born babies sleep a lot thats fine dont worry let baby sleep, once she wakes up fees properly you can feed in 1 to 3 hours or as baby wakes up or tickle on her cheeks to wake her up
