Q.
Hi doctor.. my little 2 months old girl has diarrhea with fever..what shall we do? is it due to dehydrate ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating.
and you can also do cold sponging of the body if requiredloose motionju may be because of either some infection there could be loss of water and electrolytes so a proper hydration is required give ORS and also give probiotic like enterogermina two times 3 day
