Q.
Hi doctor . My kid is now 2 year 4 month old. he speak only few words. other babies in same age they started to speak . but he is not speaking more. He is over active in any activities . but is not responding properly . he responds only few things which he likes. Everyone asking us y he is not speaking. we r very bothered. Please suggest us . At what age boy baby will start to talk .

Speech is also dependent on hearing ability so need to check that too by ENT doctor.
Reduce screen time, encourage conversations , recite play time and bed time stories to your baby. Improve interaction avoid tv avoid smartphones to baby.
Incase all such tricks do not prove successful then should not delay help seeking and should see a pediatrician and speech therapist soon.
